The third kit released from Tottenham in 2020/21 shows a striking resemblance to the current Arsenal band.
The leaked images of Footy Headlines indicate that the Spurs will play in an all-yellow shirt, designed by Nike, with the collar, badge and sponsor AIA in a dark blue color.
The jersey looks like the Arsenal yellow away jersey, which was worn by star players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette this season.
The Gunners top is retro-inspired, taking up the key concepts of the much-loved bruised banana shirt worn between 1991 and 1993.
Spurs used to wear yellow kits, especially between 1969 and 1982, when all of their outer bands were colored.
However, outings have been infrequent since then and you have to go back to 1994 to find a predominantly yellow Tottenham outdoor kit; the outdoor strip 1999/00 fact have a yellow body but also an equal amount of blue.
North Londoners have used third yellow stripes since then, however, in 2004/05, 2005/06, 2007/08, 2009/10 and 2014/15 – the most recent season to include a yellow kit.
Other Tottenham 2020/21 kits were also leaked before the new season, with Nike opting for a bold look with zigzag stripes for the home jersey and deciding on a particularly questionable gray gradient pattern for the fourth jersey.
Tottenham hopes to have more luck in their new kits during the first full season of Jose Mourinho in charge.
The Spurs are five points behind Chelsea’s fourth place in the Premier League and face a delicate task to overcome a 1-0 deficit against RB Leipzig in their return match in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The club’s most realistic chance of winning a trophy this season comes in the form of the FA Cup, with a fifth-round clash against Norwich on Wednesday – with the full commentary of the LIVE match on talkSPORT 2!
There was talk of a summer overhaul at Tottenham after their disappointing campaign.
However, this does not appear to be in Mourinho’s plans.
Earlier this week, he said, “Massive changes? No. No massive changes.
“First of all because it is not what we think we need. Second because of the club profile. Third, because of what the market is and year after year, it is more difficult.
“So I’m not thinking of an overhaul. Of course, we have to improve our team, that is obvious. “
