Tottenham face a double injury dilemma with Ben Davies and Rodrigo Bentancur suffering knocks during the World Cup.
Davies has spent the last few weeks in Qatar with the Welsh national team where he played in all three group stage matches before being substituted just before the hour mark in the 3-0 loss to England.
With Wales out of the competition, the 29-year-old is eager to return to domestic action with Spurs but his return could be delayed due to injury.
Football London reported that Davies suffered a painful stomach muscle injury after damaging his oblique.
With a four-week recovery time, that means a return for the Boxing Day clash with Brentford could be a boost.
Tottenham could also be without Bentancur for a while.
The Uruguayan midfielder suffered a tear in their group stage clash with Ghana, being sent off in the 33rd minute of the match.
With Bentancur also facing around a month on the sidelines, it means Conte could have some tough decisions to make as he looks to the holiday calendar.
Bentancur will be suspended for the clash with the Bees anyway, but will now look to be fit for the game with Aston Villa on New Years Day.
