England’s Liz Young clocked a 69th final round to win the Swiss Ladies Open and claim her first title in her 14th season on the Ladies European Tour.
The 39-year-old finished 12-under at Holzhausern to beat rising Swedish star Linn Grant by a stroke.
England’s Rosie Davies was a little further behind after a final 70.
“I knew my game was improving and I was getting better and better,” Young said. “That’s why I’m still here. Hope my daughter is watching.”
Young, the overnight leader, recovered from an opening bogey to birdie at third and seventh.
Grant made a late charge with three birdies from the 15th, but the pars of the last four holes proved enough for Young to hold on.
