Premier League sides Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are hoping for favorable draws to advance to the knockout stages.
Reigning champions Real Madrid will be looking to win the number 15 European title after beating Liverpool in last year’s final in Paris.
The Spanish giants are joined by Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich and Juventus in a star-studded line-up.

When is the Champions League group stage draw?
The draw for the Champions League group stage will take place on Thursday August 25 at 5 p.m.
The draw takes place in Istanbul, which will host the final in June 2023 at the city’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium.
The first round of group stage matches will take place on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 September, with the second round scheduled for the following week.
This year’s Champions League group stage will last just eight weeks instead of the usual 12, as players must be released to their national teams by Sunday November 13 in preparation for the start of the World Cup on November 20.
How can I watch the Champions League draw?
The Champions League draw is available to UK viewers on BT Sport, which will once again have the exclusive right to show European matches in the UK.
BT will show the draw in its entirety, along with its own expert opinion before and after the draw.
Who is in the Champions League group stage?
The composition of the teams participating in this year’s Champions League has not yet been finalized and will only be known once the qualifying play-off round is completed on August 24.
Rangers, last year’s Europa League runners-up, will hope to book their place in the draw by succeeding in their play-off against Dutch PSV.
The teams will be split into four pots of eight, with the top two teams qualifying for the knockout round and the third team going into the Europa League.
