Taylor Swift has revealed the “schedule” for her highly anticipated new album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Swifties have been patiently awaiting the release on Friday, April 19 – and now the Style hitmaker, 34, has revealed more details for the day.
On Wednesday evening, she shared a promotional video for the album on her Instagram, making fans go crazy.
The music video began in a 70s-inspired room, reminiscent of the Midnights era – his last album to be released.
In the room, there were crumbled pieces of paper on the floor, along with a series of records and a clock set to 2 p.m.
The camera then leads viewers down a white hallway and into a room named after the Department of Tortured Poets.
Inside, there are empty white desks with typewriters and coffee cups, before the camera zooms in on a bulletin board on the wall.
On the wall, the date April 19 was written with the words “Day of Liberation of the Department of Tortured Poets.”
Underneath was a note that said “8 p.m. ET.” Clip released!!’ – as well as fourteen slashes.
She simply wrote in the caption: “TTPD schedule. »
This comes just after Taylor unveiled a pop-up library in Los Angeles earlier today as she prepared for the new album.
Fans of hitmaker Karma queued for more than five hours to access a pop-up poetry library.
Fans were seen queuing around the block for the special event, sponsored by Spotify, starting at five a.m., just to get a sneak peek of Swift’s upcoming 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
The singer is known for surprising her fans with Easter eggs, and she continued the tradition by installing a large bookshelf containing clues to her new body of work.
This is Swift’s first album where she hasn’t released a single single before the album, which has added to fans’ impatience to learn new information about what’s to come.
The album, first announced by Taylor at the Grammy Awards two months ago, is set to be released this Friday, April 19.
The exhibit was located directly across the street from Cheesecake Factory in Grove, where Swift’s longtime nemesis Kanye West frequently dines with his wife Bianca Censori.
Among the carefully selected items that fans examined and later discussed on social media were a clock stuck at “2:00 p.m.” – as in the new promotional video -, a tambourine, a notebook with the words “US” scrawled on the back, a fountain pen and a perpetual calendar set to Friday December 13.
There was also a small statue of Diana of Ephesus (goddess of childbirth and fertility and goddess of the moon).
One fan noted that “the original statue of Diana collapsed while waiting to be shipped to London in the 6th century due to years of neglect, succumbing to the passage of time and the elements.”
Fans took this as a dig at Swift’s ex, British actor Joe Alwyn, 33.
In February, Swift revealed the tracklist for the album, which will see her collaborate with Post Malone and Florence & The Machine.
Among the songs listed on the album is one called “So Long, London” which many believe will detail Swift’s breakup with Joe.

Part of the bookcase contained a number of books, a jar containing puzzle pieces, and an hourglass.
There was a book called “The Manuscript”, whose author was listed as Swift herself, as well as another book called “The Black Dog”.
There were other volumes containing the names of some of his songs on the next album.
There was also a golden birdcage perched among the books. Yet another book was called “Fresh Out The Slammer.”
There was also a small file drawer with Taylor’s name on it. Some half-open drawers bore dried flowers.
Many Swifties sported colorful beaded bracelets – a hallmark of Swift fandom.
In February, Swift took to Instagram to share a photo of artwork for the record, which featured a black-and-white photo of her and “I love you, it’s ruining my life” written on it. his shoulder as well as the list of songs.
Side A begins with the Post Malone collaboration, Fortnight, and is followed by the album’s title track, My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys and Down Bad.
While the B-side contains So Long, London, But Daddy I Love Him, Fresh Out the Slammer and Florida!!!, with the latter song featuring Florence + the Machine.

The final part of the album, side D, contains I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, The Alchemy, Clara Bow and the bonus track The Manuscript.
The Blank Space singer announced her album’s release when she won Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights at the Grammy Awards.
She said in her acceptance speech: “I want to thank the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way.
“But I know that the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.
“So I want to thank the fans by revealing a secret that I have been hiding from you for two years, namely that my brand new album is coming out on April 19.”
Meanwhile, her boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, has been full of praise for her upcoming album, calling it “amazing”.
The NFL star confirmed he had heard snippets of the record. “I’ve heard about it, yes, and it’s amazing,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end exclaimed during a press conference in Las Vegas ahead of the Super Bowl, according to Kansas City Star.
