Prior to the start of the 2022-23 regular season, analysts predicted the defending champions would be successful again. Few people have seen them in their current state of turmoil.
Much to everyone’s surprise, despite not suffering any major injuries, the Golden State Warriors are 8-10 and sit at 11e in the Western Conference. While the San Francisco team posted a solid 7-1 at home, it was on the road that Steve Kerr’s boys suffered the most. They hold a terrible record of 1-9.
Despite the Golden State Warriors’ turbulent start to the season, Stephen Curry has been play out of his mind.

NBA Twitter reacts as Stephen Curry posts better numbers than his unanimous MVP season in 2016
The 2015-16 MVP season was historic for Chef Curry. The 6-foot-3 sniper managed 30.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.1 steals per game while shooting the ball at an impressive 50.4/ 45.4 / 90.8.
So far, 16 matches in his 14e NBA campaign, The Baby-Faced Assassin recorded 32.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 7.1 assists on a 52.9/44.7/90.3 shooting spread. At the advanced age of 34, no less.

As soon as the stats went viral on social media, NBA Twitter was impressed with the two-time MVP’s performance.
If he continues that stress and we can start winning games I will say this season has been better than his unanimity even though his unanimity is the greatest offensive season I’ve ever seen

He really should be the MVP right now. The only reason he isn’t is because the bench is a** and they can’t win games because of it. https://t.co/ww3rX55CMd

The Warriors are 2 games behind the 8th seed in the West
Yes, the Warriors’ record is concerning. However, sitting in 11th place, GSW are only 3.5 games behind the No. 1 seed. And they can clinch him if the team starts to click together. Of course, that’s easier said than done.
Steve Kerr and company. could very easily move up the rankings by going step by step. Currently, Golden State is 2 games behind the 8th seeded Mavs. However, the Warriors can do everything in their power to move up to 6th or higher in the West and avoid the play-in tournament.
With SC30 playing at an incredible level, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole and the other Warriors need to step up to support their leader.
