Set your alarms. Starbucks’ highly anticipated Red Cup Day is Thursday.
The coffee chain is giving away limited-edition reusable red tumblers free of charge to customers who order a craft holiday or fall drink at participating U.S. stores on November 18. The gift is available while stocks last.
Holiday drinks, which include peppermint mocha and chestnut praline latte, returned to Starbucks on November 4 and were joined by the new almond milk and sugar latte. For the past few years, the free reusable cup giveaway has been on the first day of the holiday menu.
This year’s reusable cup is made from 50 percent recycled content to honor the chain’s 50th anniversary, Starbucks said. It features a classic holiday red with playful swirls of shimmering ribbons dancing against a starry sky.

Starbucks said the Red Cup giveaway is available however you order, including mobile ordering and pickup, curbside pickup, and delivery on Uber Eats.

Free mug is available with any holiday or fall craft beverage (hot, iced, or mixed) including: Apple Crisp Macchiato, Burnt Caramel Latte, Praline Chestnut Latte, Hot Chocolate, Infused Irish Cream cold, Hot peppermint chocolate, Peppermint mocha, Pumpkin cream Cold infusion, pumpkin and spice latte, sugar and almond milk latte, toasted white hot chocolate and chocolate mocha toasted white.
Starbucks Christmas Blend brewed coffee and Christmas Starbucks Reserve are excluded.

At the start of the pandemic, Starbucks temporarily restricted personal cups. In June, after 15 months, the chain reintroduced the cups and reinstated the 10-cent rebate on reusable cups to “encourage customers to choose reusable cups and reduce waste from single-use cups.”
Free Thursday Gift Cups are eligible for the discount.
The return of personal mugs in June came with changes and Starbucks said it was “testing safe options to allow reusable personal mugs in drive-thru, but for now, reusable personal mugs are not accepted. than in stores “.
