Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones price in India
The Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones were launched in India for Rs 34,990 but for a limited period, the company is offering buyers the option to get it for Rs 26,990. Sony will start selling the headphones from October 8th.
Features of the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones
Sony has improved the fit and finish of the WH-1000XM5 with a textured soft-tip leather finish. It is not shiny but you can easily smudge it. The headband also gets soft padding with the ear cups which the company says can now comfortably fit people with large ears.
Sony has reduced the driver size of the XM5 to 30mm, a reduction of 10mm from the 40mm of the XM4 version. The company claims that the downsized driver does not affect active noise cancellation or diminish the audio quality on offer. It claims the headphones will last you around 30 hours with ANC on, and over 50 hours when you turn it off.
The headset also has a 3.5mm connector that you can use with a PC in wired mode. USB C now supports the PD standard which can charge the headphones for three minutes and get music playback for 3 hours, as the brand claims. You have gesture controls to support music playback, volume, and use the voice assistant to do things hands-free.
