Irish-American actress Saoirse Ronan and her actor boyfriend Jack Lowden quietly slipped into Australia earlier this month as she prepares to film Amazon Studios sci-fi thriller Foe.
And on Thursday, the London-based actress, 27, and her beau made the most of their time Down Under as they enjoyed a day at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
The Oscar-nominated star was seen cheering on tennis star Andy Murray, who was beaten by Japanese star Taro Daniel in straight sets in the second round match.

Ronan, who is best known for her role in Brooklyn, is currently Down Under filming an adaptation of Iain Reid’s bestselling sci-fi novel Foe.
Foe will be directed by Lion filmmaker Garth Davis as he also co-wrote the screenplay.
Irish hunk Paul Mescal and Lakeith Stanfield have also been cast to appear in the Amazon Studios film.
Ronan and Mescal will play husband and wife living in a dystopian world.

According to Deadline, “Foe is set in the near future where corporate power and environmental degradation are ravaging the planet. Junior (Mescal) and Poule (Ronan) are a young couple who have been married for seven years and live a solitary life on their isolated farm.
“One night, a stranger named Terrance (Pierre) knocks on their door, bringing life-changing news: Junior has been randomly chosen to go to a large experimental space station orbiting the Earth.
‘The weirdest part? Arrangements have already been made so that when he leaves, Hen has no chance of missing him, as she will not be left alone, not even for a moment. Hen will have familiar companionship that drives her to make a life-changing decision.
It comes just days after a fan spotted Pascal strolling through Melbourne’s trendy suburb of Fitzroy.
“Paul Mescal roams the streets of Fitzroy, this is no exercise,” she excitedly captioned a selfie alongside the star before sharing a video on her Instagram.
