Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were spotted outside a Los Angeles recording studio by TMZ on Friday, September 16.
RiRi has been spotted at a recording studio in Los Angeles several times recently, so it’s likely she’s working on an album with her boyfriend Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers.
In photos acquired by TMZ, the Umbrella singer wore slightly faded baggy denim pants with a huge chocolate-colored Supreme Mitchell & Ness sweater, looking effortlessly young and cool. She also wore a chunky diamond bracelet and choker.
Rocky, on the other hand, appeared to be keeping a low profile as he dressed in a pair of black Saturn Records print joggers with cuffed legs.
Rocky is currently charged with two counts of felony assault with a semi-automatic handgun. If found guilty, he faces up to four years in prison for each offence. On both allegations, the rapper pleaded “not guilty”.
According to attorney Joe Tacopina, he has two eyewitnesses who confirm Rocky’s claims that Relli was not injured by bullet fragments and that no bullets were fired. “Rocky did nothing wrong.” It was an extortion attempt by a former associate who threatened Rocky with bogus criminal charges if he didn’t pay him.
Rocky’s pal, according to the lawyer, concocted the story into a “get-rich-quick scheme.” “What will become abundantly clear in the months to come, based on facts and evidence, is that Rocky is innocent of these charges,” he told TMZ.
