The smart electric SUV was initially introduced to the public at the brand’s premiere on November 15, 2021 and was launched for presale on May 20, 2022. The model is priced at RMB 349,900 to RMB 409,900 ($51,785 – $60,665).
Positioned as a mid- to large-size intelligent electric vehicle, the AVATR 11 offers three trim levels, all of which come standard with the AVATRANS intelligent steering system, AVATRUST super sensing system and AVATRUTH super computing system.
It is installed with 34 sensors, including three hybrid solid-state LiDAR units, six millimeter wave radars, twelve ultrasonic radars and thirteen HD cameras.
On the power side, the AVATR 11 comes with Huawei’s DriveOne dual-motor electric drive system, allowing for a maximum output of 425 kW. Additionally, AVATR proudly announced that the long-range trim can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.98 seconds, and the number jumps to 4.5 seconds for the ultra-long-range trim.
Additionally, the AVATR 11’s long-range trim is powered by CATL’s 90 kWh ternary lithium-ion battery, enabling a maximum CLTC range of 555 km. Meanwhile, the ultra-long-range version offers a CLTC range of 680 km with a 116 kWh battery.
Thanks to its 750V high-voltage charging platform, the long-range trim can travel 200 km with a ten-minute charging session.
Notably, AVATR is currently working with bp to build a high voltage fast charging network in China.
