Wireless charging seems to be one of the default features we can expect in many flagship phones these days. The same can’t be said of non-flagships and whether or not your low-end or mid-range phone comes with wireless charging will differ from model to model, brand to brand.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 is one such device, where it comes with decent hardware and a relatively affordable price tag, but wireless charging is sadly omitted. Fortunately, if you’re considering the phone but wireless charging is high on your list, you can actually give the Galaxy A52 some wireless charging capabilities with a few third-party accessories.
Adding wireless charging to Samsung Galaxy A52
In order to charge your Galaxy A52 wirelessly, you will need a wireless charging adapter. There are a few wireless charging adapters you might be interested in checking out, one of which is from Yking and the other from Olixar and both will work. It depends on your preferences and the features offered by one or the other.
- Once you get your wireless charging adapter, unpack it
- Plug it into the USB-C port of the Samsung Galaxy A52
- Place your phone on a wireless charging mat and you’re good to go
Note that depending on the adapter, some of these will support being placed inside a case, which makes wireless charging more “permanent”, but that means the USB- It will always be busy. Otherwise, you will have to plug it in and unplug it every time you need to charge your device wirelessly.
Now, like we said, in addition to the adapter, you will also need a mat or charging mat. There are several that we’ve listed below that are quite affordable and won’t break the bank, so take a look if you’re interested.
