Actress Kim Mi-soo has died suddenly at the age of 29, her agent has revealed.
The South Korean movie star, who starred in the Disney + series Snowdrop, died on Wednesday, leaving her family in shock and grief.
Kim recently gained attention for her portrayal of student activist and side character Yeo Jung-min in the romantic drama.

Her agency Landscape said in a statement on Wednesday: “Kim suddenly passed away on January 5th.
“The grieving family is currently very heartbroken by the sudden sad news.
“Grieving people are gripped by sudden sadness.
“We sincerely ask you to refrain from fabricating rumors or speculative reports so that the bereaved family, who are in shock and sorrow, can reverently commemorate the deceased.

“In accordance with his family’s wishes, the funeral will be conducted in a peaceful and private manner.
“Please wish Kim Mi Soo rest in peace, and once again we offer our deepest condolences to the deceased.”
His cause of death has not yet been reported. Kim’s funeral will be held at Taeneung Sungsim Funeral Home.
Kim was known for her work in Lipstick Revolution and Kyungmi’s World. She also appeared in the drama Hi Bye, Mama !.
She also had a successful modeling career.
The actress is best known for her role in Snowdrop which is set in 1987 and follows a love affair between two college students.
Prior to his death, seven of the 16 episodes had aired and filming had ended because Snowdrop was a pre-produced series.
Kim had also started filming Disney + ‘s drama Kiss Six Sense and started filming.
It was reported that the drama had canceled scheduled filming the day after news of his death was announced.
