The South African-born designer later revealed that she made the decision to leave when her job started to take a toll on her personal life.
The star wanted to spend more time with her husband Bradley and her two children, Hunter, six, and Estella, 15.
In 2020, Collette sold two of his Paddington holdings for a combined $4 million just days after each property was listed.
She previously spoke to Daily Mail Australia about the major life change and how it has improved her life at home.
“You can’t do nine to five in fashion,” she revealed. ‘It’s all encompassing. But I can control it now. I can spend school holidays with my family rather than being in Paris for shows.
