The result of the Steelers–Browns Thursday night’s game was no doubt late in the game as Cleveland emerged victorious, but the outcome of the final game still mattered to a lot of people.
Pittsburgh had the ball deep in their own territory with six seconds left in the game, so for their last play they called a full-back in an attempt to pull off a miracle win. It didn’t go as planned, as the Steelers eventually fumbled the ball on their own goal line, which led to the Browns winning the ball back into their own end zone for a defensive touchdown.
Normally, this game will only matter to fantasy football players who have the Browns defense on their team. However, the most for this game came in at 40.5 in many sportsbooks, so the final touchdown also clinched the most for the game.
Both teams combined for 27 points in the first half, making it look like the over bet was going to hit. However, a second half with a lower score kept the score in check for the subs to potentially strike.
That was until the Steelers’ final game went so badly that it pushed the score over the official line, breaking the hearts of under bettors everywhere and bailing out the over bettors.
