Baywatch actor David Charvet and his son Shaya were spotted on the side of the road in Malibu on Monday, where they appeared to offer help to a woman who was stuck in a Prius following a car accident.
Charvet, 50, born in Lyon, France, and his 14-year-old son – whom he shares with daughter Heaven Rain, 15, with ex-wife Brooke Burke, 51 – were among a handful of Good Samaritans spotted arrested alongside first responders amid efforts to extract the passenger from the vehicle.
Charvet was dressed in a black puffy Nike hooded coat with blue jeans and a black cap that read “Heroes Motors.”

Shaya was seen wearing a zip-up hooded coat with black pants and white sneakers. The father and son were among those gathered at the roadside scene.
The Baywatch alum earlier this year opened up about how he voluntarily quit a successful Hollywood career in order to spend more time with his children.
The French-born former actor and pop star – who played Matt Brody in the beach rescue drama from 1992 to 1996 – said in an interview with Page Six that he had “reinvented himself” to be the “father that I wanted to be”.
“That means you put your kids to bed every night and wake you up (when they wake up),” he said.

The former singer said he decided to change his lifestyle when his first child was born.
‘Before having my first child, I traveled for five years in 42 countries to give concerts for my music. There’s no way I can do this again. I had to find another meaning in my life.
‘I didn’t want to go and catch a TV show that was in Canada, I didn’t want to travel to Europe to make my music. I wanted to stay home and I wanted to be a good dad. I wanted to be there for my children every day.

The actor said he stumbled upon his new career while building a new house in Malibu in 2006.
The actor-turned-builder explained that he was unhappy with the original contractor’s work on the house, so he fired him and took over with the help of the project manager.
“We finished the house, and every time we invited people over…they were like, ‘My god, this house is so beautiful. Do you think you could do it again? ”’
Charvet’s last on-screen performance was in 2013’s Prisoners of the Sun. The former actor returned to the small screen for a short stint in 2017, teaming up with his wife Brooke for The New Celebrity Apprentice.
However, the couple separated the following year, but the divorce was not finalized until 2020.
The two share custody of their children and both say they have moved on amicably in their lives. Transitioning into her new life after two decades in the spotlight was not without regrets.
The former Prisoners of the Sun star said he lost his identity for a while but came to terms with the change. He said, “My job today is to serve people. I am a service person. I am no longer the star.
Charvet takes care of his new life and his career. He is a partner in the Jones Builders Group, a residential construction company in Los Angeles that builds between 10 and 14 homes a year.
