But on Friday, Australian Olympic swimmer Emma McKeon enjoyed a time out away from the pool as she visited a beach in Naples, Italy.
In photos posted to her Instagram account, the four-time gold medalist showed off her incredible figure in a red thong bikini.

“I’m taking a break in Naples,” she captioned the message.
In one photo, the 27-year-old was pictured enjoying the rays of the sun as he walked along the rocky shore.
A second photo showed her beaming alongside her 21-year-old teammate Minna Atherton.
Between two quiet swims, the girls both proudly display their tonic pins.
In July, Emma established herself as the sprint queen of swimming after winning gold in the women’s 100m freestyle at the Tokyo Olympics in front of her great friend Cate Campbell.

At the time, Emma led from start to finish, breaking another Olympic record after setting the fastest time in the competition earlier in her race.
Campbell told the gold medalist at the time: “I’m so proud of you” as the pair kissed in the pool immediately after their victory.
“I can’t believe it, it doesn’t feel real. I can feel my emotions boiling now, ”Emma said after the race.
“It’s been a roller coaster this week, my emotions are everywhere and I know my family is back home watching. I felt them with me during the race and they are part of everything. ‘
