Xiaomi released the Redmi 6 Pro in the first half of 2018, then the phone was relaunched as Mi A2 Lite with Stock Android Oreo. As of early 2019, all units were on Android Pie, and now they can upgrade to Android 10 – the OTA version is already hitting some phones.
The update information has been confirmed by the moderators and the Mi A2 Lite management team on the MIUI forum. The package designation is V11.0.2.0.QDLMIXM and hits the selected devices with a larger deployment which should follow if no problems are discovered.
The update brings dark mode, new gestural navigations and all the other cool features that Google introduced in the latest Android operating system. Xiaomi devices in the Android One program have Mi native apps, but the Mi A2 Lite will replace the FM Radio app with a similar one, developed by Qualcomm.
