Watch out, Karl! Cassandra Thorburn launches podcast for Channel SEVEN on divorce
Karl Stefanovic is preparing for embarrassment after his ex-wife, Cassandra Thorburn, has signed an agreement with Channel Seven to host a series of podcasts on divorce and separation.
Although the podcast is not specifically about the separation of Stefanovic and Thorburn, it is believed that it will hint at their breakup in 2016 during the series called Divorce Story.
The 48-year-old reporter announced the podcast’s launch on Monday: “Excited by the new podcast – an informal conversation about divorce with experts”.

Today, host Karl ended his 21-year marriage to Cassandra in 2016 and has since remarried shoe designer Jasmine (née Yarbrough) – who is expecting a child in the coming months.
Cassndra and Karl share three children together: Jackson, 20, River, 12, and Ava, 14.
The Story of Divorce: Surviving Separation was commissioned by New Idea Magazine, which belongs to rival Nine, the publishing division of Seven West Media, Pacific.
The Australian said on Monday that Karl’s ex-wife would talk about the grief over her own divorce and if she had started dating again.
They also suggested that Cassandra would “ tell her side of the story, ” to which she retaliated, saying, “ The podcast will be an informal conversation about divorce with experts … despite the fact that the Australian has falsely reported the contrary. ”
Cassandra will co-host the podcast with journalist Annaliese Dent, after meeting her last year with Dancing With The Stars’ girlfriend.
In quotes from the newspaper, the mother of three said: [a divorce] I myself realized that it was still a fairly taboo subject, considered negative, and the information had to be self-collected most of the time.
She also revealed that divorce is “ one of the two most traumatic life events ” a person can go through.
Speaking to New Idea before the podcast launched this week, Cassandra admitted: “ After a divorce, the biggest grief to manage is the end of the marriage … It was the majority of my adult life. You must complain.
While she went on to say that she was going to use the podcast to “take control” of her story, Cassandra added, “No [I won’t be talking about myself], but some of the questions I ask are definitely from my experience.
Thinking about feeling “devastated” after her separation from Karl, she revealed what advice she would give her former self.
“I thought to myself that I am enough – we are all enough. Don’t waste energy wondering why something happened. Focus your energy on what you can control in your life.
Divorce Story: Surviving Separation will launch on March 4 in all podcast applications.
