Jennifer Lopez turned glamorous for a surprise visit to a local Los Angeles school this week.
By stopping off at Windward School on Thursday, the “On the Floor” musician went glamorous in an ethereal dress with a split colourway; the design also featured chunky straps and a bandeau-style bodice, contrasted by cutout panels on the back.
Amid a revitalization of silhouettes from the 1990s and early 2000s, cutout tops, pants and dresses are making a triumphant return to the celebrity style scene this season. From Cult Gaia’s beloved twist dress to Monôt’s peek-a-boo designs, you can find the uncovered numbers on everyone from Zendaya to Dua Lipa and virtually every member of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
As for J-Lo herself, the finishing touches to her own peek-a-boo look were her iconic oversized sunglasses, quilted tote bag, and hidden platform sandals.
It wasn’t until last year that the “Hustlers” star entered the shoe industry. Although she’s previously worked with a mix of brands on collaborations and campaigns, the JLo Jennifer Lopez collection at DSW is the musician’s first solo line; the brand includes a variety of stylish shoes ranging from sky-high platforms and sparkly pumps to strappy sandals, all retailing for $ 59 to $ 189.
As if all of her titles weren’t enough, in recent seasons alone, the “Maid in Manhattan” actress has also featured in major fall 20 campaigns as well as a few big names in Spring 21. She modeled for Versace , stars in commercials for Guess and Coach in addition to being a judge and executive producer for “World of Dance”. She also launched a new J-Lo Beauty line earlier this season.
