Dear Amy: I have to resolve a problem involving my close friend, “Brian” and my ex-girlfriend. The three of us used to socialize when my ex and I were still in a relationship. Brian told me he didn’t see my ex-girlfriend after we broke up except once, by accident.
However, a few days ago, Brian let me know that he recently frequented the restaurant where my ex worked (I understand she no longer worked there, but a reliable source told me she did still working). This is not the kind of restaurant Brian would frequent due to its limited cuisine choices. I suspect the only reason he would go there is because he’s always loved it and she works there.
