The Realme Link app has finally appeared on the Google Play Store and is now available for download on Android smartphones. The application will serve as a bridge between all Realme phones and its various AIoT products which will be launched soon. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth recently announced the type of products the brand will launch over time, including a smart screen, a smart speaker and a smart watch. He has already presented the Realme Band and Realme Buds Air as the first two products in his vast portfolio to come.
The change log for the Realme Link app on the Google Play Store reads as follows: with realme Link on your phone, it will become the control center, where you can view, use and control all your realo AIoT products. This basically means that future Realo AIoT devices will use Realme Link for pairing and managing functionality. The Realme Link already supports Realme Buds Air and the Realme Band, which was launched earlier this week. The Realme Link application can be downloaded for free on Android; however, its iOS counterpart is not available at this time.
At his Realme 6 series launch event, Sheth said the brand is looking to create an ecosystem of smart devices, just like Apple, by launching products in major categories. While Realme is now present in more than three categories, it aims to encompass a wider range of devices. The brand will launch smart speakers, smart screens, smart TVs and smart watches in the future. In addition, the company will also enter the fashion segment with its own range of clothing. On the road proudly to a Tech-Lifestyle ecosystem! Sheth wrote in a tweet on Saturday March 7.
As a reminder, Realme launched the Realme 6 series in India earlier this week. The Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro come with a 90 Hz display with four rear cameras. They also support 30W Super VOOC 2.0 fast charging technology on their respective batteries. Realme sold the Realme 6 at Rs 12,999 and the Realme 6 Pro starts at Rs 16,999.
