Given that Macs currently use Intel processors, the references naturally suggest that Apple may be planning to release Macs with AMD processors, but this has not yet been confirmed. Apple relies on AMD for graphics in certain models of MacBook Pro, iMac, iMac Pro and Mac Pro.
Many references contain AMD APU code names such as Picasso, Raven, Renoir and Van Gogh. APU or Accelerated Processing Unit is AMD’s marketing term for a single chip CPU and GPU.

A few months ago, an unsubstantiated report from Taiwan Daily economic news said Apple is planning to announce a high-end gaming Mac at WWDC 2020. If there is some truth in the rumor, it is certainly possible that the Mac will be powered by an AMD APU, but of many players are skeptical.
It should be noted that we haven’t heard any rumors regarding AMD-based Macs in particular, and it’s also possible that the benchmarks are only for internal testing, so adjust your expectations accordingly.
