The World Cup is going on in full glory and it started with a memorable performance from Morgan Freeman and Jungkook. K-Pop fans say Jungkook’s FIFA anthem “Dreamers” is the best. Dreamers broke the record by reaching No. 1 on iTunes in the United States. However, there are many notable FIFA songs in the history of the tournament. Pitbull just tweeted it while performing one of these songs at the opening ceremony of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Pitbull released the song called We Are One (Ole Ole) and performed it with Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte.

The song has a Brazilian folk music vibe and Pitbull’s vocals made it better. Shakira has one of FIFA’s best-known songs. “Waka Waka” is still FIFA’s most talked about song.

FIFA’s very first song was called “To be number one” by Giorgio Moroder. Moroder performed the song in Italian and English. FIFA’s first theme song was a rock song for the 1990 Italian World Cup.

The United States hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup. The classic American 90s pop song was performed by Daryl Hall and Sounds of Blackness. The song was about high hopes for the glory of the United States of America.

La Coupe de la vie or La Copa de la Vida was the title of the theme song for the 1998 France Football World Championship.
