RB LEIPZIG boss Marco Rose has ordered strikers Timo Werner and Andre Silva to start being selfish when they face Celtic this week and turn chances into goals.
The Hoops travel to Germany this week for the first of their double game against the German Cup winners in the Champions League.
But former Chelsea star Werner, who cost £25million from Leipzig in the summer, has scored just one Bundesliga goal until today’s game in Bochum.
And Silva – who was the Bundesliga’s top scorer just two years ago and scored 40 goals in just 48 starts for Eintracht Frankfurt – had failed to score at all in the league this season, until yesterday.
Now Rose has demanded they raise their game ahead of the Scottish champions’ visit to Red Bull Arena.
He said: “They both need to reward each other sometimes and shoot. It’s extremely important for them to score more goals.
“They were both guilty of passing team-mates in front of goal, instead of shooting, especially Timo.
“In training they’ve been great and I want to see that on the pitch in the coming weeks because we have an incredible amount of games to come.
“For the effort they both put in on the pitch, they absolutely deserve more goals.

“They’re both good at getting into a scoring position and they’ll start scoring at some point because they both certainly have the quality.
“Once they start scoring, they will start a scoring streak.”
The Hoops face a defensive crisis for the game which could leave them without the two first-choice stoppers against RB Leipzig.
Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt are OUT of today’s home clash with Motherwell.

Sweden’s Starfelt is also a confirmed absentee for Wednesday’s Champions League tie with Leipzig.
And Carter-Vickers is doubtful for the trip to Germany after pulling out of US national team friendlies against Japan and Saudi Arabia with what US chiefs called a “minor blow”.
