Jamie Vardy appears to make an X-rated remark, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall cuts his leg and Leicester dig Leeds in title celebrations

Jamie Vardy couldn’t contain his excitement as Leicester launched their championship victory celebrations.

The Foxes clinched the title with a 3-0 victory at Preston North End on Monday evening having already secured promotion three days previously.

Vardy got on the scoresheet twice in a match-winning night for the club, which sealed an instant return to the Premier League.

And he took the opportunity to celebrate in style in front of fans, so much so that it appeared to make him drop a cheeky F-bomb.

After speaking to Sky Sports, Vardy joined his teammates in running towards the traveling Leicester fans and sliding across the pitch.

Given the wet conditions at Deepdale, he slipped so far on the turf that he almost hit the advertising boards head first.

“Damn it, I’m off to fly!” he appeared to say as the camera was pointed at him, doing so with a smile.

Teammate Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall didn’t seem to fare as well during his celebrations, although he apparently suffered a minor injury.

The midfielder could be seen limping off the pitch on his way to the dressing room, with blood stained on his left leg.

It’s still unclear what caused this, but one thing is for sure, it won’t help spoil the party at Dewsbury-Hall.

Back in the locker room, the players could be seen celebrating by signing “I Predict a Riot” in a live video on Instagram.

The song is sung by British band Kaiser Chiefs, from Leeds, with Leicester’s rendition appearing to be a dig at their Championship rivals.

Leicester players celebrate promotion to Enzo Maresca

Both teams appeared to be in title contention, with Leeds’ victories over the Foxes prompting fans to get excited about the Whites’ chances of promotion. However, it was Leicester who came out on top while Leeds may have to settle for a play-off place.

Since their relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last season, Leicester have quickly emerged as contenders to move straight back up.

The arrival of Enzo Maresca from Manchester City as manager has proven to be a great appointment for the Foxes.

At one point it looked like they were set to win the title, but a dip in form invited Ipswich Town and Leeds back into contention.
