Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard has hinted he could move to Manchester United or Chelsea in the future.
Pavard has spent the past six years in the Bundesliga with Stuttgart and Bayern, having made his professional breakthrough with Lille in 2016.
The France international has been tracked by a number of European clubs this summer but opted to stay with the Bundesliga champions.
Both United and Chelsea have reportedly considered a move for the Frenchman as they look to bolster their defensive options.
Speaking to Telefoot, Pavard revealed he had received offers from various clubs over the summer and hadn’t ruled out a move to the Premier League.
“I questioned myself, I had calls from different clubs with my agent. Afterwards, I had the Bayern coach with whom we spoke and with whom we have a good relationship,” explained Pavard. .
“He made me understand that I was in his plans, that I was important for the team. Maybe one day I will go to one of these clubs, you never know what the future holds for me.
“I am still at Bayern Munich. Afterwards, we have time to project ourselves.
Pavard is remembered for his goal for France in the 2018 World Cup Round of 16 against Argentina.
The defender managed a 20-yard effort, which was later named the goal of the tournament.
At Bayern, he won three Bundesliga titles and a Champions League trophy to add to his World Cup winner’s medal.
Pavard started Bayern’s first five games of the season but has since lost his place in the squad to Moroccan youngster Noussair Mazraoui, who signed a free transfer from Ajax in the summer.
Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have already shown interest in Pavard but the Premier League could be next on the list for the Frenchman.
