Zoë Foster Blake reveals why she raised prices on her most popular Go-To skincare products… after selling a stake in the company for $89 million
Zoë Foster Blake has raised prices on some of the most popular products in her Go-To skincare line.
The journalist-turned-businesswoman, 41, announced the price hike on Tuesday in a statement posted on the company’s Instagram account.
In a lengthy “note from Zoë,” the Go-To founder said prices were rising due to rising manufacturing costs and shipping costs.

Products in its Gro-To line, children’s skincare and bath products, will see a slight price drop, however.
Zoë said the price increases take effect from May 1.
It will see products including its Properly Clean cleanser drop from $31 a bottle to $33, and the Very Useful Face Cream (100ml) drop from $72 to $78.

It’s a plus: the products of its Gro-To range, skin care and bath products for children, however, will see a slight reduction in price.
Its six-pack of masks, called the Transformazing 6 pack, will drop from $45 to $55.
Zoë said when she launched the line from her living room in 2012, she wanted high-quality skincare with “world-class customer service.”
“These principles still guide Go-To, but as we have grown and evolved, things like sustainability and global markets have also moved up in priority,” she said.
“But over the past year, things like freight, raw material price changes, supply chain challenges and packaging costs have gone haywire.”
“These third-party changes mean that some of our prices will go up; you will have noticed this happening with many of your favorite brands. (BP and Ampol are your favorite brands, right?),” she joked.
Zoë assured Go-To users that price changes have been kept to a “minimum”, writing: “We are not freaks!” But these changes will allow us to maintain the products you know and love, with the quality you expect and we demand.
She finished: “We understand the effect even small price increases have on your daily life, especially when it’s all happening at once, from every angle. We appreciate you and your support.

BWX praised Go-To for providing consumers with “simple, reliable and effective skincare products for the masstige market.”
Masstige refers to mass-produced, inexpensive products that are marketed as luxurious.
The skincare company was started by the former magazine reporter in 2012 and generated $36.8 million in revenue in 2020 alone.
That same year, Zoë’s net worth was estimated at $36 million.
