Zac Efron was once linked to rap star Nicki Minaj with the couple who would have lived a night of steamy passion together.
The 32-year-old High School Musical star is said to have had a brief adventure with the Anaconda hitmaker in 2013.
Hollywood’s secret plug-in became the talk of the town flashy when Nicki invited Zac to her house in West Hollywood after a party.
Speaking to Star Magazine at the time, a source released details when they revealed that the 37-year-old rapper couldn’t get enough of Zac after their scorching night.
The insider said, “Zac and Nicki shared a scorching night together. Nikki took Zac to her house in West Hollywood.
“She said he was the best lover she had ever had,” they said.
Hypnotized by her talents in the rooms department, Nicki wanted to nurture their relationship, but unfortunately Zac did not feel the same.
A source close to the singer at the time revealed that Zac was not ready to commit during their steamy connection, so did not want to go further or make public their supposed novel.
“She thinks Zac is so sexy,” insisted the insider.
“She would have liked to go further, but she knew it was going through a phase when they connected.”
In 2013, at the time of the alleged romantic date, Zac was struggling with an addiction to drugs and alcohol.
Opening up to his battle with drug addiction a few years later, the Bad Neighbors star revealed that he had turned to drug addiction in an attempt to evade constant media attention after his rapid ascent to glory.
Zac explained that he had trouble coping with media intrusion and turned to cocaine and alcohol to deal with public life.
As a result, he developed an addiction that led him to spend time in rehabilitation in 2013.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, the actor revealed, “It’s an endless struggle. I was drinking way too much.
“There was something missing, a kind of hole that I couldn’t really fill. I was so deep in my work, it was really the only thing I had.”
He continued, “I mean, you’re in your twenties, single, you live in Hollywood, you know? It was hard, but it made me who I am.”
