This year belongs to Alia Bhatt. The ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress tied the knot with Ranbir in April after four long years of dating and welcomed their first child, a baby girl on November 7. The couple named their little angle Raha.
Sharing a first family photo, Bhatt wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, “The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful grandmother) has so many beautiful meanings…Raha, in its purest form, means divine path in Swahili. She is joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan. In Bengali – rest, comfort, relief. In Arabic, peace, it also means happiness, freedom and bliss. And true to her name, from the first moment we held it – we felt it Thank you Raha, for bringing our family to life, it feels like our lives have only just begun.
