You won’t find many, if any, managers like Neil Warnock in your lifetime.
The veteran boss is still going strong at 72 as he contemplates a record-breaking ninth promotion to the championship, this time with Middlesbrough.
After Boro’s 7-0 win over non-league Tavistock on Wednesday, a video on social media showed Warnock diving into his fanny pack to give a lucky young fan a signed photo of himself .
There have been viral clips online from Warnock giving his Sheffield United players the hair dryer treatment in the dressing room, but he has shown his light side to the young girl.
The actions of the former QPR manager were praised by Yannick Bolaise, who played under him at Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough.
The former Everton winger, who is now a free agent, tweeted: “What a dude! #Gaffer the last of a dying race.
Warnock certainly has a sense of humor too, as he once said he wanted a minute of booing around the football fields to mark his death.
Middlesbrough will look to improve on its 10th place in Warnock’s second full season.
Boro will face Plymouth Argyle and Rotherham in preseason friendlies ahead of the start of their Championship campaign against Fulham on August 8.

Discussing his team’s dominant performance against Tavistock, Warnock said: “It was still very hot but we didn’t do as much this morning.
“I thought the other night we looked a bit on our feet sometimes.
“But it’s about getting them back in shape in the preseason, when we also managed to give a few guys a little rest and some other minutes for the guys.”
