Women’s Basketball Season Tickets and Single Game Tickets Available Now – EKU Sports

RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky women’s basketball enters its 53rd hoops season in early November, season passes and single game tickets are now available through the EKU box office.

Season tickets start from $25 and can be purchased online at the link here. Season passes can also be purchased by phone at 844-3-GOBIGE.

Single match tickets are also available starting at $5 for any of EKU’s 15 home contests at the Alumni Coliseum on the EKU ticketing homepage.

The Colonels are expected to open the 2022-23 season with three non-conference matchups with Evansville (Nov. 7), Appalachia State (Nov. 11) and Morehead State (Nov. 13) before crossing the pond to participate in the MAAC/ASUN Dublin Basketball Challenge in Ireland.

EKU will conclude the non-binding slate by hosting three NAIA programs in the state at McBrayer Arena against Midway (November 23), Union (December 20) and Alice Lloyd (December 29).

Eastern Kentucky will then enter its second campaign as an ASUN member with nods at home against Kennesaw State (January 2), Stetson (January 5), Bellarmine (January 11), Jacksonville ( January 19), North Florida (January 2). 21), Lipscomb (February 2), Austin Peay (February 4), North Alabama (February 16) and Central Arkansas (February 18).

The Colonels are coming off a strong inaugural season in ASUN, which saw the team win seven games and advance to the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.

The head coach Greg Todd fires eight players from a team that was in the top 15 in the nation and first in ASUN in free throws made, second in rebounds per game.

The team ranked in the top 5 in the conference in assists (380), blocked shots (129), free throw percentage (.739), rebound margin (+1.7), score offense (0.670), thefts (287) and forced turnovers (18.77).

Eastern Kentucky added five players from the transfer portal who bring a wealth of experience from their respected former institutions in Marissa Mackins (All-ASUN First Team), Danielle Rainy (Four years of P5 basketball), Anthony Walker (Two seasons at Marquette), Kiana Williams (Two seasons at Bethune-Cookman), and Morton Abbey (Played semi-professional in Australia).

Tickets to see your Colonels on the road during the regular season will be announced at a later date.
