Five months ago, Microsoft unplugged Windows 7, offering users a pretty difficult choice – switching to Windows 10 or sticking to an aging operating system that the software giant no longer supports.
While the smartest choice is to upgrade to Windows 10, many people have avoided doing so for a variety of reasons, including that they simply prefer the way Windows 7 does things – no Cortana, no forced integration. from Bing, no invasive telemetry…
While Microsoft has wiped their hands of Windows 7 – with the exception of companies that are currently paying for extensive security updates – YouTuber the Hacker 34 has created its vision of the operating system’s appearance. it was published today.
Its concept Windows 7 Edition 2020 offers a new Start menu, a compact Action Center and uses a new design language called Fluentmorphism.
The appearance of the operating system interface can be changed using accent colors and there is also the inevitable dark mode. Its concept updates File Explorer, adds tabs and introduces a cool new tablet mode.
For me, the consistent design and the animations are among the best improvements.
