Roma director of football Gianluca Petrachi has opened up about his desire to work with Tottenham boss Antonio Conte.

There is no denying that this would be the case for virtually every individual in the world of football.

Conte is one of the best coaches in the world, and has been for over a decade.

The Italian boss has become a household name for the first time after kicking off Juventus’ seemingly unstoppable era in Serie A.

After leaving the Bianconeri, the decorated manager joined Chelsea and managed to win the Premier League in his first season.

And that too, with his team collecting an impressive 93 points.

One of Antonio Conte’s most memorable stints remains at Inter Milan, where he orchestrated the club’s first Serie A triumph since 2010.

And now at Tottenham, the revered tactician ensured the North Londoners secured Champions League football seemingly out of the blue last season.

While the 53-year-old is often singled out for his pragmatic style of play and controversial opinions, his caliber as a coach remains unquestionable.

As reported by TuttoJuve24, Roma director of football Gianluca Petrachi, who signed Paulo Dybala and Tammy Abraham during his time at the club, has revealed he would no doubt like to work with Antonio Conte.

“Antonio and I have two very strong characters, so why not? It would be interesting to see us working together,” he admitted.

Tottenham unlikely to let Fabio Paratici go

While it’s admirable that Petrachi didn’t shy away from his aspiration to work alongside Tottenham’s chief honcho, it’s vital to remember that in large part Paratici has been a success since his arrival.

Moreover, Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici have years of experience working in tandem, both at Juventus and Tottenham.

As a result, Gianluca Petrachi’s dream is likely to remain a dream as Spurs are unlikely to make any changes in terms of their current role as director of football.

In other news, The club are currently in talks to stop the ‘perfect’ £15m talent from signing for Tottenham
