Let’s face it. singer and Instagram Queen Ariana Grande is talented. But the problem is, she would also be self-centered, spoiled, and an amazing diva.
She made her international debut in 2o1o on the Nickelodeon show Victorious, starring the innocent and ditzy Cat Valentine alongside actress Victoria Justice. Since then, she has released 6 studio albums, won numerous awards and (according to celebritynetworth.com) accumulated a net worth of $ 150 million.
But, her demands as a diva are legendary. And his regrets are rare. So she made a lot of enemies along the way.
Former staffers, co-stars, celebrities who met her and disappointed fans all attest to her unreasonable demands, arrogance and what some say is rudeness.

And if the diva consents to an interview, staff need to make sure the interviewer doesn’t mention certain topics. Which? Well, Mariah Carey for starters. Seems Grande has been nicknamed the “young Mariah”. And that annoys him. And apparently Mariah bristles when Grande’s name is mentioned.
Other taboo subjects include her late grandfather and Ariana’s relationships, past and present.
And as ridiculous as it sounds, staff should be prepared to carry her around if she’s too tired or wants to conserve energy.
Of course, she denies all of this. She is, she says, totally not a diva. Do we believe it? Probably not.
It won’t surprise you that staff turnover is pretty darn high. People are either fired when they don’t meet Ariana’s expectations or they leave out of frustration.
Photographers hate working with her
Why? Well, she can only be photographed from the left. They should never use red light or natural light when taking pictures of her. And she has the final approval on all the photographs.
When Australian photographer Chris Pavlich tried to do a photoshoot with the diva, she was not happy with the photos he took. so what did she do? She just walked out, leaving the staff to make sure the offensive footage was gone. Ariana concocted a fragile story about just quitting to change clothes. But most people saw it pretty quickly.
His loyal fans
If you catch Ariana on a good day, she can be charming. But if you catch it on a bad day, be careful.
At an event in New York City, she was outwardly very nice to the fans. But as soon as she was out of the reach of her loyal supporters, she was heard saying that she wanted them “to kill her.”
A fan dad complained that when his daughter won a contest and had the “honor” of meeting Ariana, the singer was cold and distant and refused to autograph a photo.
At the end of the day, it’s always, always, always about what Ariana wants. Forget everyone.
Other celebrities?
After Nickelodeon Victorious was called off in 2013, a mini-feud broke out between Ariana and her co-star Victoria Justice when Ariana blamed Justice for the show’s cancellation. Victoria applauds harshly.
What followed? Well Ariana did another Nickelodeon show called Sam and cat with Jennette McCurdy. It only lasted 35 episodes between 2013 and 2014. Why? Well, the biggest problem was that Jennette and Ariana didn’t get along at all. McCurdy has complained loud and clear about Ariana’s diva behavior.
Then when in 2014 McCurdy did a webcast called What’s next for Sarah? there was a conceited, selfish, rude personage called Gloriana. It was hard to miss the fact that Gloriana was firmly based on Ariana Grande. To say the obvious: Jennette and Ariana haven’t spoken for years and years.
And what does the singer of The Cab think of our Ariana? Well, Alex DeLeon met her once and made it clear to her that he never wanted to see her again. He tweeted: “I hope none of my fans ever have the displeasure of meeting @ArianaGrande. The most stuck and disrespectful person I have ever met in this industry.”
So why the hell wouldn’t someone want to work with a rude, demanding, arrogant, self-centered person like Ariana Grande? You understand it.
