Woody Harrelson explained how the two sometimes go on short trips. If you follow either actor on social media, every once in a while your feed will be graced with a sweetheart photo of the two kissing or smiling together on a fantastic getaway. People magazine quoted an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show when Woody Harrelson was back in 2019:
“I do a ‘friendship tour’ almost every year. I thought about calling it a ‘bender where I lick my rich friends’, but I was like, ‘No, you know, the friendship tour. ‘Friendship is better,'” he told the Times. “Come on, stay with them, drink unconscious. Great.”
The actors are obviously having a good time together. Apparently, their great relationship helps make them both better actors. McConaughey said in GQ:
“One of the things where (Woody) and I are good at comedy is where I start and he ends and he starts and I end and we really get a similar frequency and roll with it,”
Truly it’s a bromance for the ages. The fact that their personal and professional lives complement each other proves why they have such good energy together on camera. The actors will surely share some of the truth of this energy in this new project they have decided to collaborate on.
