Donald Trump is one of the most controversial presidential candidates in decades. Even though the former US head of state faces dozens of charges in four separate criminal cases, polls show him leading President Joe Biden in most of the key states that will decide this year’s election, and with a persistent lead in national polls.

As president, Trump led the country through a period of economic prosperity and growth, with low interest rates, high consumer spending and a thriving housing market. But he also oversaw the United States’ convoluted response to Covid-19, approved controversial immigration policies, sought to overturn the results of the 2020 election he lost, and rallied supporters who then stormed the US Capitol.

If you think he should win the 2024 presidential election, the Financial Times wants to hear from you via a short survey or you can post your thoughts in the comments below this article.
