PERRY COUNTY – Perry County’s Pick Perry event was held Friday at the Tell City Depot. There were drawings, free food and lots of networking. Around this time, journalist Katy Wilborn spoke with the guests to find out what Pick Perry meant to them. These are the answers.
“Pick Perry means you choose Perry to visit. It’s a place with beautiful hills, a place where you can go camping and swimming in Ohio. You pick Perry for an adventure,” CVB manager Casey Stutsman said.
“Pick Perry means we have a strong sense of togetherness here. We all participate in its pleasure. We all feel something when there is grief. Pick Perry means a strong sense of community,” Sara Zuelly said.
“Pick Perry means community. I grew up here and there has always been a sense of community. We always come together whether in happiness or sadness. We are going through this together,” Amanda Crockett said.
