Brad Pitt’s cooking skills in films are so exceptional, casting director and teacher Caroline Liem of Pace Performing Arts told the Washington Post that Pitt is so good, “It’s the Laurence Olivier to eat!” Oh, be commended on your food skills. Pitt is truly a working god.
But why does it seem like Pitt’s characters are always eating? There have been a lot of theories about their onscreen eating habits, as well as the psychological and voyeuristic pleasure we get from watching someone eat. Maybe there is something there, but when asked about it in an interview with Joe.ie, Pitt provided the answer we were looking for.
In the interview, Pitt revealed that he enjoys snacking here and there. “I like to keep busy, I am a grazer by nature,” he said. He went on to explain that there was actually a reflection on why he always eats in the “Ocean” movies. “There was actually a method to this, because [his character] was always on the run, always on the move, thought he could never sit down and have a good meal. So he always had to catch something while running, ”Pitt revealed. So while we love watching Pitt eat, it really comes down to the fact that he’s like us and loves to eat. Pitt does it better than the rest. from U.S.
