Ayesha Curry made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show via a video link on the talk show host’s annual Mother’s Day episode.
As part of her lore, DeGeneres’ audiences were filled with pregnant women (practically, of course), so she asked Curry, a mother of three, to share her best parenting tips.

“With my first one it was a whole new world,” said the 32-year-old. “You can never be prepared, so that’s the first thing. Don’t worry, it’s just going to happen naturally and you really can’t do anything about it. So let it be, don’t be afraid. Curry, who shares her children with Golden State Warriors basketball player Steph Curry, admitted there was one thing she wished she had done differently.
“And I think the best advice I’ve ever received – and it took me three babies to figure this out – is to sleep when the baby is sleeping,” she continued. “So if I could go back in time, I would have done this.”

The culinary entrepreneur spoke about his children, especially his two-year-old son Canon, who only recently learned that his father is a professional basketball player, not a golfer.
“It’s really cool, actually – for a very long time he thought his dad was a golfer because of the pandemic and there was no basketball during the season,” Curry explained. “So he just realizes that his dad and his uncles play basketball, so it’s been new and exciting for us.”
For Mother’s Day, Curry’s husband Steph hosted a flyby of his sister and family, which will be Curry’s first time seeing his sister in 18 months, and his first meeting with his five-month-old niece. .
Later in the episode, Curry played a game of “Drawer Dash” with DeGeneres. DeGeneres gave Curry 10 seconds to find something in his house that matched the description given to him.

For the first item, DeGeneres wanted Curry to take something “you never want to see again”.
