Google Pixel 7 – Obsidian
Reasonable and smart
The Pixel 7 is a black tie affair in the Obsidian finish. The body is covered in a coat of black paint with a dark gray bar and camera frame.
Choosing the color of your Pixel 7 is a personal matter
Google didn’t roll out shades of orange or peach this time around, but we did get a sunny yellowish-green variant of the Pixel 7 called Lemongrass. Since color coordination and complementary schemes are focal points for Google, all of the company’s 2022 accessories feature similar hues and tones. If you like the green colors of the Pixel Buds Pro and Pixel Watch, Citronella is the best shade for your tastes.
On the other hand, if you’re leaning towards a cleaner, more minimalist aesthetic, the pure white Snow colorway is a better match. As expected, the snow white Pixel 7 has a matching silver frame and camera bar.
Unlike the Pixel 6 variants, the black option of Google Pixel 7 is not very unique. There is no dual tone to make things more interesting. The Pixel 7’s dark color option is called Obsidian, and it’s pretty straightforward. You get a glossy black coat of paint paired with ash metal accents. It’s the safe option for those who aren’t immediately drawn to lemongrass or snow.
