Samsung is currently at the forefront of delivering promised updates for their smartphones. Several phones, including high-end flagships and midrange phones, have already gotten the latest stable One UI 5 update based on Android 13.
Now, the three-year-old mid-range Galaxy A71 has also started receiving the update. This is impressive since the update for the device was scheduled for later which means it is getting the update before the scheduled date.
Galaxy A71 Android 13 One UI 5 Update Status
Poland is one of the first regions where Galaxy A71 users received the stable Android 13 update based on One UI 5. Users around the world can expect to get it soon. It might be before the end of this year that their device would receive the update.
Note that the Galaxy A71 was launched in late 2019 and comes with One UI 2 based on Android 10 out of the box. So this is probably the last major software update for the Galaxy A71. After that, it will only receive security patch updates.
The update is of course based on Android 13, as mentioned earlier. It comes with the October 2022 security patch. According to the report, the firmware version of the update is A715FXXU8DVK1. The update contains several new features, customization options, and privacy and security features. Overall, the update brings several important changes to the device and improves the user experience.
Unfortunately, there is no word regarding the One UI 5 update for Galaxy A71 5G.
How to check/install the update?
