Finneas is supportive of his little sister, even though she is dating a man more than ten years her senior.
The musician, 25, has weighed in on Billy Eilish’s relationship with Jesse Rutherford nearly two weeks after the couple made their red carpet debut.
“Look, as long as she’s happy, I’m happy,” Finneas told E! News Thursday.
Not only did Eilish, 20, and Rutherford, 31, attend the Nov. 5 LACMA Art + Film Gala together, but they actually walked the carpet wrapped in the same Gucci blanket.
The rockers alternated between hiding under the statement blanket and dropping it to display their matching all-silk Gucci monogrammed pajamas.
Eilish opted for a sleeveless lace-embellished nightgown, which she paired with a long dress and monogrammed eye mask, while Rutherford wore a long-sleeved shirt and pants, along with Gucci slippers blurry.
The Grammy winner and The Neighborhood frontman made their controversial romance Instagram official just after Halloween.
Poking fun at their 11-year age gap, the two dressed up as a baby (Eilish) and an old man (Rutherford), and they showed commitment to their costumes.
The “Bad Guy” singer wore a beanie, bib and babydoll makeup, while the “Cry Baby” crooner (oh, the irony) donned a bald cap, gray mustache and suspenders.
“Life is craaaaaaaaaaaaaazy🤡 happy halloween🎃🥰,” Eilish captioned a carousel featuring various videos and images — the latest being their couples costume.
Fans of the “Happier Than Ever” singer weren’t thrilled with the outfits, with many criticizing her decision to shed some light on a situation that many believe could be construed as “grooming.”
Eilish and Rutherford sparked romance rumors last month when they were spotted holding hands as they exited a haunted maze at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios.
Days later, they seemingly confirmed their relationship with a makeup session captured by paparazzi outside an Indian restaurant in Los Angeles.
