“We Can’t Just Criticize Paul Pogba Even When He’s Not Playing” – Sky Sports presenter Dave Jones calls Graeme Souness

Pogba expected to leave United this summer

He is arguably the most contentious player in the Premier League and Souness is someone who has never hesitated to criticize Pogba’s attitude.

The Frenchman left a huge clue about his desire to leave United last summer, indicating that he was ready for a “new challenge”.

Pogba has only made seven appearances for the Red Devils all season after injuring his ankle for much of 2019/20.

Before United’s Premier League clash at Everton, for which Pogba was not available, Souness questioned the player’s professionalism.

Souness was initially reluctant to talk about Pogba as he is often reprimanded for the way he criticizes the 26-year-old.

But alongside the united legend Roy Keane, who is also skeptical of Pogba, Souness had another pop.

He said, “Maybe Man United should check out Everton’s medical staff. they have [Andre] Gomes returns in a fraction of the time in what appears to be a much worse injury.

“Now I know I’m jumping here and all the doctors are going to jump up and down, but it’s just the cynic in me.

“I see Paul Pogba dancing at a wedding, I see him pulling hoops … and just the cynic in me suggests he doesn’t want to be at Man United.

Keane then explained, “I think it was at a fashion show …

Souness then added, “How can you not want to play? How can you NOT want to play for Man United if this is the case? “

The presenter from Sky Sports then intervened and said, “We can’t just criticize Paul Pogba even when he’s not playing, Graeme!”

United have been in good shape lately, having not lost in their last eight games, but were unable to beat the Toffees on Sunday when the game ended 1-1.

Errors by Jordan Pickford and David de Gea led to the goals of the two camps which were scored by Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Bruno Fernandes.

The Red Devils thought they lost it to death when Calvert-Lewin’s deflected shot went into the net, but the ball went through Gylfi Sigurdsson, who was in an offside position and was deemed to interfere with the game. Game.
