What there is to know

The Houston Texans are quite a 13.5-point shorthanded gap for Sunday’s game. They’ll hit the road to take on the Cleveland Browns at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium. If the 10-7 final of the last time they met is any indication, that game will be decided by the defense.

Houston didn’t have too many problems with the Jacksonville Jaguars at home last week as they won 37-21. Houston quarterback Tyrod Taylor threw him in as he passed for two touchdowns and 291 yards on 33 attempts in addition to picking up 40 rushing yards. Taylor had a passer rating of 157.70.

The special teams collected 13 points for the Texans. K Joey Slye delivered a perfect 3v3 game.

There was early excitement for Cleveland after scoring the game’s opening points last week, but it was the Kansas City Chiefs who ended up taking home the real prize. Cleveland didn’t finish too far behind, but the team still lost 33-29 to Kansas City. The losing team were bolstered by RB Nick Chubb, who scored two rushing touchdowns.

Houston’s victory took them to 1-0 while Cleveland’s loss brought them down to 0-1. Both of these teams could be a bit out of breath after walking the length of the pitch several times in their last games.
