Walt Disney World parks will close due to Hurricane Ian
Walt Disney World announced on Tuesday evening the closure of its parks due to Hurricane Ian. The parks will be closed Wednesday and Thursday. Disney Springs will close on Thursdays only. “We are monitoring weather conditions so that we can make timely decisions for the safety of our cast and guests,” a statement said. Universal Orlando also announced on Tuesday that it would close for several days due to the storm. The closures come a day after Disney announced on Monday that it would close some of its hotels and resorts due to the hurricane.
