WhatsApp will introduce voice notes on the status of the WhatsApp for iOS beta. This feature is still not available for WhatsApp for Android beta users. However, in the new version of WhatsApp for iOS, users will be able to share a voice instead of the normal WhatsApp status. iOS users will be able to share a voice note up to 30 seconds long on their status right next to the text section, like the chat one.
This feature was highly anticipated by users as many of them have been asking for it for a while now. In another previous update shared by WhatsApp, it was announced that every WhatsApp user will be able to create polls. This feature is now available for everyone, so if you don’t have it, try updating your app.
Like any other status update, your voice notes will also be shared with the people you choose. You can browse your status privacy settings to choose who you want to share your voice note status with. As this feature is still under development, no one can see what the status on WhatsApp will look like, but what we do know is that it will be similar to the regular app status. Android will also have the same feature soon and it will be like iOS.
This feature may differ from screenshots when available to beta users. Development of this feature is still ongoing and we will keep you posted on any new information regarding this feature. You shouldn’t just be excited about this feature, as WhatsApp is constantly rolling out new features that will keep users engaged with the app. It is possible that soon WhatsApp will no longer be a messaging application, but also an application used for entertainment.
