The unit includes two cameras – a 4K front camera with almost 300 degrees of smooth rotation and a second camera that records the interior of the vehicle as well as the rear.
The front camera uses Sony’s latest STARVIS 2 IMX 678 image sensor which provides wider dynamic range in a single exposure than the same size STARVIS pixel. Sony developed its STARVIS technology for security cameras and offers extremely high sensitivity beyond the human eye. It captures images even in the dark and provides a noise-free digital signal. It also provides high dynamic range so that images with bright and dark areas remain crisp and clear. The end result is excellent imagery and reliable video of accidents, thefts, vandalism or other incidents.
The camera also has six infrared lights so the cameras can record in detail even in total darkness.

Of course, the camera isn’t just for serious situations. You can turn the 4K camera on yourself for vlogging or other video streaming purposes. The second camera offers 1080p resolution and can be placed anywhere in the vehicle – it doesn’t need to be rear-facing; you might prefer to record the driver or the front passenger, or whatever you want.
It is also compatible with external microphones for enhanced outdoor sound and offers a range of useful features such as 24/7 parking monitoring with automatic event detection, time-lapse and GPS logging.
