Wolves may be known as carnivorous hunters, but they can also be majestic and loyal creatures. It’s easy to see why the folks at @apexwolves are dedicated to taking care of them! They recently shared a quick video of one of their wolfdogs, Loki, being hugged by a staff member – and TikTok is having a blast!
To be honest, we’re just as obsessed with this gorgeous wolfdog as everyone who commented on the video. From his gorgeous fur to his super laid-back attitude, there’s so much to love about Loki!

Alright, where can we line up for hugs? Loki is stunningly gorgeous, but his casual look and slight underbite melt our hearts.
“That face, I can’t!!” gushed @highgore12. He is such an expressive boy! We would be very happy with ourselves if we were the person who helped him relax so much. If we didn’t know her better, it looks like she has the magic touch!
Commentator @wolfchick101 seemed to read Loki’s mind when she wrote, “oooh yeah right there…ahhh that’s the place.” It’s easy to see how much he loved stripes! If his smile didn’t reveal it, however, those closed eyes and flopping ears certainly did.
@Randomsupporteroflgbt said, “If not a pet, why fluffy? (But seriously, I understand why NOT pets).” We are on the exact same page! Even though we want to snuggle up to Loki, we know he’s a wolfhound with a less docile temper (and different needs) than a dog. That doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it from afar, though!
