Kobe Bryant showed off his soccer skills
It’s been five years since Bryant traveled to Paris to join Paris Saint Germain on the pitch to watch them train. He watched the players from the stands and took in all the drills and processes the players go through during training.
Once aware of the training sessions, he went on the field to greet all the PSG players and the technical staff. The smiles on the faces of the players showed their emotions and their respect for a sports legend. He relaxed with the players, took selfies and took part in the PSG photo shoot with the jersey.
The training session tempted Kobe to take the ball and show off his footballing skills, and he did it with Neymar and then rising star Mbappe. He was great with the ball and made fans forget he was an NBA player.
A PSG journalist asked him after the session if he missed playing football. Kobe said, “No, I don’t miss it, but I like to come and see how some of the best players in the world prepare and the best organizations in the world prepare.”
The visit to the PSG training camp was one of the examples of the great NBA’s love for football. He supported AC Milan during his childhood in Italy. Kobe frequently donned a Barcelona jersey and continued to visit FC Barcelona during the off-season. His passion for sport led him to create Mamba FC.
